Department Description

Exciting opportunity to provide new models of care for walk-in/urgent care access including days, evenings and weekends. The new CHA CBHC Cambridge and Malden program provides behavioral health evaluation, resource referral, and initial treatment services for individuals of all ages. 

Summary
Responsible for providing a variety of outreach and education services, and patient advocacy that is culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate for target populations. Develops community awareness of and facilitates the use of primary health care services for a variety of health issues.

Other Information:
  • Bicultural and/or bilingual in the specific cultural/language group of the population/community served in a particular job.
  • Education/Training: College degree or equivalent plus four years of experience in a relevant human service field.
  • Work Experience: Experience working with relevant community groups preferred. Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings
  • required.
