About the Position:
Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Analyst to join our New York team. Doyle is a respected auction house with a long-standing presence in the fine art and collectibles market, known for its expertise and collaborative culture.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in finance and accounting. The position supports vendor remittances, customer payables, and auction-related administrative operations, while providing hands-on exposure to a range of accounting and operational functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process billing, remittances, and maintain organized and accurate filing systems
- Provide support for internal and external audit activities, including document preparation and reconciliation
- Review and verify payments against source documentation, invoices, and Positive Pay records
- Assist in managing consignor accounts payable, including processing payments via check and bank transfer
- Maintain company vehicle records, including registrations, insurance documentation, and related compliance items
- Support sale-day operations, including online bid clerking, equipment setup, and phone bidding coordination
- Assist with licensing and regulatory requirements across multiple office locations
- Perform data entry, processing, and support basic financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Foundational knowledge of general ledger coding and accounts payable processes
- Prior internship or experience in Accounts Payable or accounting support is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
- Demonstrated ability to learn and navigate multiple database systems
