Account Executive

About the role

As an Account Executive at infinIT, your job is to grow our client base. You own the full sales process, from first outreach through signed agreement.

You will prospect, qualify, run discovery, build proposals, and close. You will be the face of infinIT in every early-stage client conversation, and how you show up matters.

This is a hunter role. If you are most comfortable managing existing relationships, this is probably not the right fit.

What success looks like

  • You are consistently generating qualified opportunities through outbound effort and referrals
  • Your pipeline is real, not inflated, not stale
  • Prospects feel like they are talking to a trusted advisor, not a vendor
  • You forecast accurately and deliver on what you commit to
  • You close new business and hand it off cleanly to the service team
  • You represent infinIT with professionalism and genuine care

What you'll be doing

  • Prospect for new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and partner relationships
  • Qualify and run discovery with business owners and executives
  • Manage your pipeline and CRM with accuracy and discipline
  • Build and present proposals for managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure solutions
  • Close new business and coordinate a clean handoff to the service team
  • Provide honest weekly pipeline updates to leadership

What we're looking for

Required:

  • Proven track record in IT or technology sales in a hunter or new business development role
  • Experience selling managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, or related solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with business decision-makers
  • Disciplined pipeline and CRM management

  • Genuine curiosity about the businesses you sell to
  • Coachable, you want to get better and you are open to feedback
  • Competitive drive that does not need a spotlight

Work environment and expectations
