Overview
Avoya Travel is seeking an experienced full-time IT Support Tech for its San Marcos, CA location. This is a fast-paced position with growth potential. The role will serve as the first line of contact for our IT Department. The position will administer and support new and existing corporate information system assets. Support will be provided via desk-side, phone, and/or remote connectivity. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and local area network issues while adhering to internal escalation and standard operating procedures. Please note this will be a Hybrid role. require
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Provide day-to-day technical support for employee hardware and software needs.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and promptly resolve issues on desktop and peripheral information systems.
- End-user account management.
- Creates and maintains new and existing inventory lists for corporate information system needs.
- Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Tests and recommends hardware and software solutions.
- Participates in a variety of information systems and infrastructure support.
- Perform problem resolution and escalation practices.
- Consult with senior peers on various projects.
- Support of audio and video conferencing equipment.
- Creates and updates technical documentation.
Sound Like a Good Fit? What It Takes to Be Successful…
- At least 2 years’ experience in providing end-user Desktop/Local Area Network support.
- Experience working in a customer service role.
- Must possess knowledge of desktop operating systems: Windows 10.
- Provide remote and on-site end-user support for MS Office 365, Anti-Virus, Active Directory and various 3rd party applications.
- Must possess the ability to analyze data to offer recommendations and provide permanent issue resolution.
- Ability to verbalize or express complex technical concepts effectively in writing and overall excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
