The Presales Technical Consultant assists the sales organization by designing, positioning, and delivering technical solutions that meet customer business requirements. This position connects clients, sales teams, and technical delivery divisions to guarantee that offered solutions are feasible, competitive, and consistent with Lenovo’s offerings.
Sales Support
Partner with Account Managers during client engagements
Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops
Deliver product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations
Respond to RFIs/RFPs with detailed technical input
Customer Engagement
Act as trusted technical advisor to customers
Clarify business challenges and map them to Lenovo solutions
Address technical objections and risk concerns
Internal Collaboration
Work with product, services, and operations teams to validate solution viability
Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover
Provide feedback to product teams based on market needs
Market & Product Expertise
Maintain deep knowledge of Lenovo portfolio (devices, infrastructure, services)
Stay current on competitor technologies and market trends
Support enablement sessions for sales teams, customer and partner.
