Overview:

Revvity is seeking a creative R&D engineering intern to join the in-vivo imaging (INV) group and support the development of next-generation in vivo capabilities. The INV team works on turning experimental ideas into robust technical solutions for imaging workflows—helping ensure the systems perform reliably and efficiently, generate clear results, and support real-world research needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the INV group in developing, validating, and refining in-vivo imaging products and workflows—from data acquisition through processing and preparation for evaluation.
  • Support experimentation and testing of prototype components or software features, including troubleshooting and documenting outcomes.
  • Help analyze datasets and summarize findings in clear reports that guide next development steps.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to interpret results, identify gaps, and improve performance and usability.
  • Contribute to internal demonstrations by preparing materials, presentations, and status updates on progress.

Basic qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate-level biomedical engineering, computer science, physics, or related program (or completed within the last year).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework or project experience related to medical imaging, instrumentation, experimental systems, or data processing.
  • Experience with programming and working with data for analysis or automation (e.g. Python, Matlab, C++).
  • Experience with software development tools, processes, and version control (e.g., MS Visual Studio, Git, Jira, etc.).
  • Prior internship, lab, or engineering project experience showing initiative and ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, research innovative solutions, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
