Department: Maintenance



Job Status: Full-Time



FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt



Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor



Location: Ponca City, OK



Amount of Travel Required: N/A



Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY:



 



The Maintenance Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and basic upkeep of company facilities, including production areas, offices, grounds, and common spaces. This role supports a safe, sanitary, and efficient work environment through custodial services, minor repairs, and facility maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.



 



 



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")



 




  • Adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and procedures.

  • Clean and supply designated building areas, including offices, production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.

  • Perform floor maintenance such as sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.

  • Empty, clean, and maintain trash and recycling receptacles.

  • Clean, sanitize, and restock restroom facilities.

  • Operate, clean, and perform basic servicing of custodial equipment.

  • Perform minor repairs to furniture, buildings, and equipment using basic handyman skills.

  • Identify and report safety, sanitary, environmental, or fire hazards.

  • Secure facilities by locking and unlocking doors, windows, and gates as required.

  • Dust and clean common surfaces, windows, and break area furnishings.

  • Respond to and clean up spills, including food and beverage spills.

  • Replace air filters as required.

  • Perform basic landscaping duties, including lawn mowing and grounds upkeep.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
