Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Pneumatic Technician to perform inspection, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft pneumatic components to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a 145 Repair Station environment and will interpret technical documents to carry out precise component work.
Essential Duties:
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and overhaul pneumatic aircraft components.
- Use and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
- Operate various measuring and test equipment in accordance with FAA standards.
- Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
- Comply with FAA and Repair Station operating procedures (Part 145).
- Maintain inspection tools/equipment with current calibration.
- Perform maintenance per OEM technical data and FAA-approved guidelines.
- Support leadership in absence of the shop manager.
- Participate in cross-training and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) or similar aviation setting.
- A&P License preferred, but not required.
- Strong working knowledge of pneumatic systems and aircraft components.
- Familiarity with on/off valves, solenoids, regulators, torque motors, ACMs, PDUs, and both narrow and wide-body starters.
- Proficient in using inspection and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
- Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements for shop tasks.
