Job Description

Moraine Park Technical College invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at the Beaver Dam Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Sonography Physics 1 during the Fall 2026 semester, running from August 24 through December 18, 2026. The course is delivered on campus and meets Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Other program courses could be considered in place of Sonography Physics 1 to best match a candidate's experience to the teaching assignment. This adjunct assignment is anticipated to recur each fall semester; instructional needs during the spring semester are typically limited.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years (4,000 hours) of paid work experiences related to the program(s) being taught, including one year (2,000 hours) of paid work experience that has been acquired within the past five years. In lieu of this one year of recent experiences, two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the past five years may be considered. (Two years of post-secondary teaching experience means eight semesters of part-time teaching or four semesters of full-time teaching at an accredited institution.)

Interviews will be held the afternoon of Thursday July 9, 2026 on the Beaver Dam campus.
