We are seeking a Middle School Spanish and Interventionist Teacher who enjoys building strong relationships with students and supporting both language development and academic growth. This role includes teaching middle school Spanish and providing intervention support to students who need additional academic assistance. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and committed to helping students grow with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Middle School Spanish instruction aligned to course goals and student needs
• Provide intervention support for students needing additional help in targeted academic areas
• Differentiate instruction and intervention to meet a wide range of student needs
• Use student data to identify needs, monitor progress, and adjust support accordingly
• Build positive relationships with students and create a strong learning environment
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to provide coordinated student support
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, intervention plans, and growth
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, meetings, and professional development

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Spanish (FF) endorsement required. Elementary certification, including ZG, preferred.
• Strong understanding of Spanish instruction and intervention best practices
• Ability to differentiate instruction to support a range of student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Willingness to contribute to a small school environment and community
