The Deli Associate is a vital member of our organization, playing an essential role in providing a welcoming, positive experience to customers, and ensuring food quality is maintained. Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain high level of customer service.
- Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures to ensure deli is clean, stocked, organized, and well kept.
- Maintain quality brand image standards.
- Maintain product quality and waste management.
- Operate all food service processes: stock, label, date, rotate, prepare, and cook.
- Execute proper food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food.
- Communicate any merchandising problems, price change requests, and equipment problems.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Follow and ensure all health and food safety regulations are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Effective communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.
- Understand food quality.
- Strong work ethic.
