We are seeking an experienced Junior Imaging Informatics Analyst to support our continued growth and commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Location & Hybrid Schedule: This position follows a hybrid work structure, blending remote flexibility with essential weekly onsite requirements. Due to the need for consistent onsite meetings and local stakeholder interaction, we are seeking candidates currently living within 50 miles of Elmira or Ithaca, NY.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Imaging Informatics Analyst to join our dynamic Imaging Informatics team. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Radiology/Cardiology Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and a solid understanding of medical imaging workflows. This role is critical in providing first-line support to end-users, effectively troubleshooting issues, meticulously documenting incidents, and efficiently escalating complex problems to senior staff.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions, resolving routine PACS issues such as user access problems, image display difficulties, and workflow disruptions
• Create and meticulously manage incident tickets within the designated ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and diligent tracking of all issues.
• Triage incoming support requests, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact, and escalating complex or unresolved issues to the Imaging Informatics team with clear and concise documentation.
• Maintain current knowledge of Radiology/Cardiology PACS functionality and troubleshooting techniques, actively participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by the Imaging Informatics team.

Qualifications and Experience
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with Radiology/Cardiology PACS is required.
Strong understanding of medical imaging workflows and terminology.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously

Education/Certifications
• High School diploma required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements
• Up to 20% (onsite as needed) – Within 50-mile radius of Ithaca & Elmira, NY locations

Physical Requirements
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
