Qualifications: High school diploma, knowledge in using computer technology to keep records, and excellent human relations, and oral and written communication skills.
Duty Days: 260 duty days, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (8 hours/day) includes paid holidays
Pay: $24.40/hr- $29.92/hr based on education and experience

Job Summary:
The Assessment and EL Intake Specialist will assist with the coordination of the administration of local, state, and national
tests under the supervision and general direction of the Director of Data & Accountability and provide enrollment and
reporting support for English Learner programming.
SECTION II: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage test administration according to the district and school assessment calendar.
Provide regular, ongoing communication of testing schedule and progress to building administrators, teachers,
and support staff.
Provide leadership and coordination of all site assessments in collaboration with the appropriate school staff.
Facilitate assessment-related training including test security, test administration, and materials handling.
Utilize online assessment platforms to ensure accuracy in student assignment to assessments.
Understand, communicate, and adhere to test security procedures.
Maintain accurate records for all aspects of testing.
Ensure accurate and timely enrollment processing and intake of students who may qualify for English Learner
services.
Administer and assist with processes related to preschool screening.
Ensure all students have tested in each window for each assessment.
Administer district and state surveys, such as the MN Student Survey, as needed.
Manage and track data for Migrant Education and English Learner (EL) programs, ensuring accuracy for state
reporting.
Maintain and update student records in Synergy, resolve EL-related errors, and ensure proper data alignment
across systems.
Performs data entry and provides clerical support related to position as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
