Position Introduction:
We are currently looking for an Electric Vehicle Energy Analyst Intern to join our team this summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will work closely with incentives team to research and explore opportunities for Electric Vehicle, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or Solar grants.
- Assist the EV Incentives Team in drafting EV incentive applications to include Federal, State, Local and Utility based programs.
- Work with various Applegreen departments to compile and submit reimbursement documentation for outstanding grants or incentives.
- Document and track requirements related to ongoing data collection and submittal for existing incentive programs to include National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI), Utility Make-Ready and other operating incentive programs.
- Prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly progress reports related to open grant or incentive programs.
- Maintain databases related to grant funding.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to project discussions and brainstorming sessions. Prepare, maintain, and distribute meetings notes and assist in agenda creation and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of business analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
