What You Can Expect

Responsible for supporting the development and execution of Zimmer Biomet’s overall strategic roadmap. Drives critical strategic initiatives across the enterprise, facilitates strategic prioritization processes, and ensures the organization is focused on the most impactful opportunities for growth and value creation. Partners closely with senior leadership, group strategy teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate rigorous analysis into actionable strategic recommendations.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Support the design, deployment, and ongoing management of the Annual Strategic Planning Process, ensuring alignment across the enterprise and driving continuous improvement of the planning framework
  • Conduct rigorous landscape assessments including competitive intelligence, market analysis, white space identification, and emerging trend evaluation to inform strategic priorities
  • Perform research and financial analysis to support new market landscaping and strategic opportunity identification
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations that shape the strategic roadmap and priorities for senior leadership
  • Apply strategic frameworks to analyze problems and develop solutions that advance the company’s competitive position
  • Manage enterprise-level strategic initiatives sponsored by Senior Management, driving cross-functional execution and accountability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with group strategy partners, business unit leaders, and regional teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across commercial, clinical, regulatory, and finance functions, communicating complex strategic and analytical findings clearly to support cross-functional decision-making
  • Perform analysis of data to support market understanding and corporate strategic planning

Your Background

  • Preferred Qualification: MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
  • Preferred Qualification: 12+ years in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting in life sciences or MedTech
  • Preferred Qualification: Previous MedTech experience with understanding of the business
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience AMER


Travel Expectations

  • Up to 30%

This role has a salary range of $187,000-250,000 annually with additional compensation to be earned through bonus opportunity.
