Position Summary
Handling S&OP process to ensure accurate MRP planning for smooth production & material planning. Ensure on time and in full receipt of parts as per the schedule released to domestic suppliers. Train and develop suppliers to improve their performance in Delivery and Quality. Actively participate in the new project and development activities.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement standard/ automated re-order procedures
- Establish and implement VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) for timely supply of parts
- Prepare and send out schedules to the suppliers based on the S&OP Plan.
- Follow up and ensure the timely availability of the material as per schedule in Warehouse
- Monitor and improve Suppliers delivery & quality performance
- Engage with the Suppliers, discussing with them Parker requirements and steps towards continuous improvement and improvement of delivery and quality efficiency
- Actively work towards establishing and achieving the Deflation and PPI targets as per the Parker Standards and exceed.
- Work closely with Operations team and within department for better coordination
- Prepare and ensure timely release of Purchase Orders to the suppliers as per the schedule.
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.
- Compile data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Act as a champion on S&OP process to ensure accurate MRP planning for smooth production & material planning
- Provide monthly estimate of inventory and work for the achievement of the same
- Review Ageing inventory and take actions for liquidation.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate with more than 4 years of experience in Automotive OEM or Tier I Suppliers.
- Written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry is preferred
