Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team in a fast casual dining and bar environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage shifts while maintaining inventory control and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak service times.
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service, cash handling, and Bistro operations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions as needed.
  • Assist with banquet preparations and execution, ensuring all events run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Proven experience in supervising staff within a casual dining or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of shift management practices and techniques.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess potential candidates effectively.
  • Understanding of kitchen operations and restaurant management principles.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
  • Ability to provide help and support to team members while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Experience in banquet management is a plus.
