The Service & Parts Advisor is responsible for supporting customers with their marine service and parts needs while ensuring a smooth communication flow between the customer, service technicians, and parts department. This role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience, maximizing service and parts sales, and ensuring work orders and parts orders are handled efficiently.
Requirements
Customer Service
Greet customers and assist with service and parts inquiries for boats, motors, and marine accessories
Write service repair orders and accurately document customer concerns
Communicate service recommendations, timelines, and estimates to customers
Provide updates on repair status and notify customers when work is complete
Parts Sales & Inventory Support
Assist customers and technicians in identifying and ordering correct marine parts and accessories
Process parts sales at the counter, by phone, and via email
Receive and check in parts orders and ensure accuracy
Maintain organized parts displays and storage areas
Service Coordination
Schedule service appointments and manage service workflow with technicians
Ensure parts required for scheduled repairs are ordered and available
Close repair orders, process invoices, and review completed work with customers
Operational Support
Maintain clean, organized service and parts areas
Follow dealership processes for work orders, parts orders, and warranty documentation
Support team goals related to customer satisfaction, efficiency, and sale
