The employee must possess a valid CA Preliminary or Clear (preferred) Multiple Subject teaching credential. Must possess valid CLAD certification. This assignment may include a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) student on the roster. Candidates must either hold appropriate authorization to teach TK or be willing to obtain the required Early Childhood Education (ECE) units to meet the eligibility criteria in accordance with state guidelines within 2 years of hire.

Prior online teaching experience preferred. Teaching experience with TK-8 highly desirable. Experience with Charter Schools a plus.

* All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.

Based on education and experience. Reg HS ES moving to Venture, credit 10 years as ES and or 10 years w/ Springs. New Hires, credit up to 5 years prior full time certificated teaching experience.

This Venture Online Teacher of Record (TOR) will be responsible for supervising students in TK-8 grades. The TOR will collaborate with parents on goal setting, curriculum and lesson planning, reviewing student learning, reporting attendance, creating the portfolio, providing assessment, monitoring student budgets and placing appropriate POs, creating report cards, assigning grades and units, and creating course descriptions.
