District Wide Additional Information: Show/Hide - Coach general and special education teachers on classroom management and behavior strategies
- Model effective practices and provide feedback through observation and follow-up
- Lead development and monitoring of BIPs and support FBAs
- Support Tier II and Tier III interventions within MTSS frameworks
- Collaborate with principals to analyze discipline data and develop action plans
- Assist with complex behavior cases and problem-solving teams (MTSS, IEP, etc.)
- Support staff in collecting and using behavioral data to inform decisions
- Provide professional development on behavior management, de-escalation, and evidence-based practices
- Ensure consistency of behavior systems across classrooms and teams
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA and special education laws
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention and instructional practices
- Ability to coach adults and build teacher capacity
- Data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and support school-wide systems
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
- Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification (Special Education preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in education with behavior intervention support
- Knowledge of MTSS, behavior strategies, and classroom management
- Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills
