Description

a positive impact in the life of others? Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) may be the place for you. We
are a state-of-the-art 100-bed long-term care nursing facility for individuals with mental illness or
intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team in caring and improving the
daily lives of our residents.
COVID vaccine is recommended.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sets up food trays for residents and clients and serves food in a long term care facility on any shift.
- Washes, cleans and prepares fruits and vegetables for meals. Serves meals, prepares salads and desserts.
- Mixes ingredients for fruit cups, beverages, sandwiches and similar items. Obtains necessary ingredients from storage areas.
- Cleans and maintains dining and kitchen areas. Disposes of trash, sets up tables. Stores supplies may do pot scrubbing and dishwashing.
- Will work any shift and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
