K-8 Therapeutic Learning Center Teacher, ESY Program

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

To plan and provide instruction to students who attend a therapeutic learning program during the school year and who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

• Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills, information, or behaviors per IEP


• Supervision of paraprofessionals


• Coordination of related service support


• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers during and after the program


• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

 

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

 

• Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required


• Teaching experience with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs

 

Schedule:

• July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026


• 9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday


• Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program


• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
