About Us

Lyric National Inc. provides skilled nursing facilities and other long-term care facilities with a concierge platform for in-facility healthcare services funded through a supplemental accident and sickness policy (Enhanced Plan). Our program enables residents to access robust medical services-often beyond what traditional Medicaid structures provide-while helping facilities maximize healthcare options for patient care.

We are committed to improving healthcare access and financial sustainability for long-term care providers through innovative insurance solutions.

Your Role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (full stack) who has experience working on both greenfield and brownfield projects. We are seeking a lead to help guide teams of other engineering for specified projects. • Build and enhance backend services and APIs, with a strong emphasis on reliability and maintainability
  • Design and manage asynchronous workflows and background processing
  • Contribute to frontend development, delivering simple, maintainable user interfaces
  • Own monitoring, observability, and system health for the services you build
  • Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and future roadmap definition
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Help set engineering standards, review code, and mentor other engineers

What you'll Bring

  • Experience building APIs, services, and integration layers
  • Asynchronous processing using tools such as Temporal (preferred) or Celery
  • Strong data modeling and querying experience with PostgreSQL

Frontend

  • Experience with lightweight frameworks such as HTMX and Alpine.js
  • Ability to build pragmatic, maintainable UIs without unnecessary complexity

Infrastructure & Cloud

  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms

Experience & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • Prior experience operating at a senior or lead level
  • Proven ability to own systems and projects end‑to‑end
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and sound engineering judgment
