Purpose:
Assist the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service departments operation within the dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
- Follow service department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. This includes Repair Order, Standard Job Code, Warranty and Billing processes
- Opens and maintains work orders until they are closed or invoiced
- Reviews segments to ensure correct parts are listed and verifies that HTI charges and fees are properly billed and accounted for on work order
- Maintains Service Department filings and records related to equipment manuals
- May schedule and maintain mass channel relationships
- Updates customer profiles with information such as equipment, hours, or other information from the customer repair orders
- Actively promote and sell service marketing programs, financing and maintenance solutions to customers
- Work with Centralized Transportation to maintain vehicle maintenance files in accordance with DOT regulations
- Other duties as assigned
