    LCSEA is accepting applications for the position of a full-time Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year. 
     
    Duties Include
    1. Assist in the implementation of the students’ IEP’s
    2. Prepare adapted classroom material as directed by the teacher
    3. Implement instructional activities as directed by the teacher
    4. Encourage and model appropriate behavior
    5. Assist in the implementation of students’ behavior management and healthcare programs within the classroom
    6. Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
    1. 60 hours post-secondary work or a passing score on the paraprofessional test with a high-school diploma or GED
    2. Good communication skills
    3. Good organizational skills
    4. Interest and ability in working with students and teachers
    Salary and Fringe Benefits 
     
    1. Paraprofessional positions start at $15.00/hour depending on education and experience (180 days).
    2. 13 sick leave days
    3.  3 personal leave days
