- Current Act 34, 151, and 114 clearances
- Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred
- Experience as a principal, director, and/or central office administrator required
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to coordinate and lead instructional programs across the district
- Guide curriculum development, scope and sequence planning, and instructional coherence across K-12 programs
- Supervise and support building principals and instructional leaders
- Coordinate curriculum committees, department chairs, and cross-functional teams
- Lead evaluation and continuous improvement of the district's educational programs
- Use data to drive decision-making and improve student learning outcomes
- Oversee professional learning and in-service programming aligned to district priorities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and reporting requirements
- Coordinate textbook, instructional material, and program selection processes
- Support budget development related to instructional programs and resources
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, agencies, and the Board of School Directors

The Eastern Lebanon County School District is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Superintendent. This position serves as a key member of the Superintendent's leadership team and provides strategic leadership for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning across the district. The Assistant Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring a coherent, high-performing educational system that improves student outcomes and aligns with the district's Comprehensive Plan.
In partnership with the Superintendent, this leader supports district-wide strategy, supervises building and instructional leaders, ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, and helps guide continuous improvement efforts. In the Superintendent's absence, the Assistant Superintendent assumes full leadership responsibility for the district.
