Job Description

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director, Physician Recruitment, the Sourcing Recruiter researches advanced recruitment sourcing channels and trends.  In collaboration with the Physician Recruiter creates and implements organizational and individual physician recruitment sourcing plans through a variety of channels including, but not limited to: direct email, e-mail blasts, journal advertising, web postings, national meetings, banner advertising, events and print media.  Manages 3rd party recruitment vendor relationships. The sourcing recruiter is responsible for oversight and management of the department's yearly sourcing calendar.
The Sourcing Recruiter is also responsible for the initial review and prioritization of incoming candidate CV and will make independent judgment on the viability of the candidacy against determined candidate qualifications.  In partnership with the physician recruiter will conduct preliminary checks on the candidate's credentials and work history.  All activity will be tracked in the department's candidate tracking system. Continuously build pipeline of Physician and Advanced Practice Provider candidates to ensure there are multiple candidates in play. Summary statement here

ATTRIBUTES

Two years experience in recruitment, sales or marketing, preferably in a healthcare setting preferred
Ability to function independently and in a team environment.
• Must be detailed oriented. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, internet research, and social media platforms.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent telephone etiquette.


Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or human resources is preferred or combination of education and work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing & Screening
    •    Source candidates via job boards, direct email, email blasts, telephone calls and residency/fellowship programs.
    •    Sourcing tools include but are not limited to Practice Match, Practice Link, Career MD, Linked IN, Doximoty, Face Book,  journal advertising, web postings, national meetings, banner advertising, events and print media.
    •    Manage 3rd party recruitment vendor relationships. 
    •    Research national fellowship programs and obtain Program Directors/Coordinators contact information.  
    •    Research and register for exhibit opportunities at national medical conferences for recruiters to attend and work with Program Coordinator to secure registration. Work with the appropriate recruiter to ensure marketing materials and giveaways are secured for all events. 
    •    Review CV’s and make independent judgment on the viability of the candidacy against determined candidate qualifications.
    •    In partnership with the physician recruiter will conduct preliminary checks on the candidate's credentials and work history.
    •    Track candidate activity in the Physician / APP tracking database and send out report on weekly basis.
    •    Send pre-screened, qualified candidates to Physician and APP Recruiter who will conduct the remaining steps of the recruitment process.
    •    Is responsible for oversight and management of the department's yearly sourcing calendar.

    Communication
    •    Maintain regular communication with VP and Director of Talent Acquisition and Physician / APP Recruiters.
    •    Communicate to leadership and recruiters’ information regarding candidate sourcing.
    •    Update, revise, and refresh internet job postings as needed.
    •    Attend team meetings and communicate recruitment issues to appropriate staff.
    •    Provide timely responses to questions from all candidates.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
