Welcome to Sustainability Analytics.
As part of the Sustainability Analytics team, you will join a specialist group within Global Sustainability that brings together experts in sustainability, life cycle assessment, and data analysis. Our team is dedicated to sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration, both within our group and with key stakeholders across Novonesis, including commercial teams, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs. We work primarily on-site in Lyngby, with the flexibility to work from home to support a healthy balance.
In this role you’ll make an impact
You will play a vital part in advancing Novonesis’ People. Planet. Positive ambition by documenting the tangible sustainability benefits of our biosolutions. Your work will involve translating complex scientific data into clear, credible insights that support business decisions, customer engagement, and strategic priorities. You will lead strategic sustainability projects and cross-industry projects, connecting the societal benefits of our solutions to important global agendas such as chemical replacement, food waste reduction, biodegradability, and energy efficiency. Your insights will support our external positioning and help shape the sustainability narrative both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of projects in line with our Project Model, Project Management Framework, and best practices
- Manage the project backlog and ensure clear agreements with teams
- Define, obtain approval, and control the project budget
- SteerCo alignment on goals and solution space, status reporting and continuous engagement to ensure that the effort spent balance with the value created
In addition, some of your key tasks will include:
- Delivering robust and engaging sustainability assessments, such as LCAs, to support business initiatives
- Developing and communicating compelling sustainability stories based on scientific analyses
- Creating strategic materials that inform and influence decision-makers across the business
- Producing documentation, whitepapers, and insights for internal and external audiences
- Leading communication efforts to translate complex data into accessible, valuable insights for stakeholders
You will collaborate closely with colleagues from a range of backgrounds, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver impactful sustainability initiatives and ensure effective communication with both internal and external partners.
We expect you to bring:
• Master’s degree in natural science, economics, engineering, business, or similar
• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, sustainability programme leadership, or senior sustainability specialist roles
• Experience with life cycle assessment, environmental economics or socio-economic impact studies or similar
• Demonstrated ability to embed sustainability into corporate strategy or commercial offerings
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Track record of translating complex technical analyses into clear, compelling insights and stories
• Fluent in English
