Job Description:

• Proficient in a wide range of exploration practices and techniques, geochemistry, structural geoscience, geophysical modelling/interpretation and integration of data and modelling
• Proficient in risk assessment, contractor management, budgeting & project management
• Acting as a technical leader within the team and providing guidance, mentorship, and training to junior geologists and technicians
• Produces and accountable for geological and mineralogical wireframes for resource estimation purposes
• Understands metallurgy, geostatistic, basic resource estimates and can provide quality data input and analysis
• Prioritizes targets using targeting criteria to maximize opportunity for discovery
• Uses Meisterplan and inputs/controls data for ranking and budgeting of projects
• Develops and supervises development of exploration and/or drilling programs
• Considers safety, permitting, mining laws, environment, cultural heritage, stakeholder engagement, exploration methodologies, prospectivity, geoscience, regolith, geophysics, geochemistry & previous work in the preparation & implementation of exploration programs
• Improves plans by re-evaluating and reconciling results against performance
• Demonstrates leadership in safety, stewardship of the environment & cultural heritage and effective stakeholder engagement
• Strives to drill economic intersections
• Contributes to development and implementation of a  strategic plan for the region
• Contributes data to annual budgets, objectives and monitors performance
• Effectively identifies and manages relationships with key internal  & external stakeholders
• Ensures the collection and management of relevant data to a high standard of quality assurance and control
• Integrates and interprets data and makes objective assessments on exploration potential
• Effectively presents results of exploration to peers and superiors
