Job Summary: 



The Financial Analyst II will be a business partner with the plant management team by providing analytical, reporting and strategic support.



The primary focus of this role is to provide financial oversight to the plant management team which includes; budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, providing recommendations and action items to improve business performance and accounting for capital expenditures.  This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 




  • Acts as a business partner with plant management by providing accurate and timely reporting along with analytical and strategic support

  • Prepares and assumes a leadership role in annual budgets and forecasts

  • Prepares variance analysis with explanations along with potential actions to understand and improve business performance

  • Prepares accurate and credible analyses with recommendations to the plant management team to drive improvement in the business

  • Establish, monitor and analyze key performance indicators

  • Works closely with accounting team during month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely results

  • Tracks and accounts for capital expenditures; includes evaluating the return on projects

  • Perform ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects as requested
