Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.

• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of assistive devices.

• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.

• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance.

• Help residents with meals, including tray setup and feeding assistance.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

• Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and safe.

• Provide respectful, compassionate care in accordance with resident care plans.

• Follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection control protocols.

• Participate in in-service training and continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid STNA certification in the state of employment

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus but not required.

• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.

• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents and perform job-related tasks.

• Current CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
