Facility: Staten Island Care Center
Position: RN Supervisor (Every Other Weekend)
Location: Staten Island, New York
Schedule: Full-Time | Every Other Weekend | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Staten Island Care Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Supervisor to lead and support our nursing team every other weekend. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance and smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing leadership with oversight of daily clinical operations

  • Supervise nursing staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels for each shift

  • Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance

  • Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections

  • Support resident care planning, assessments, and discharge coordination

  • Monitor medication administration and treatment procedures

  • Address staff concerns, complaints, and workplace issues professionally

  • Welcome and orient newly admitted residents and families

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members during rounds

  • Provide direct nursing care when needed

  • Assist with staff evaluations and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York

  • Minimum 5 years of nursing home experience required

  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities

  • Ability to make independent clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
