Essential Position Requirements (include but are not limited to):

• Direct the activities directly related to the Accounts Receivable(AR) and Accounts Payable(AP).
• Supervise employees performing AP and AR duties.
• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards.
• Requisition, control, and maintain inventories of supplies and materials (including MRO and OEM).
• Supervise the work of AP and AR staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
• Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
• Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
• Review records or reports to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance.
• Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems.
• Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for AP and AR staff.
• Give input on employment decisions.
• Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to AP and AR staff.
• Assists with accounting close cycles.
• Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided.
• Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with senior leadership.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisory personnel or with other work units or departments.
• Participate in the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.
• Make recommendations to management concerning such issues as staffing decisions or procedural changes.
• Develop work schedules according to budgets and workloads.
• Analyze financial activities of establishments or departments and provide input into budget planning and preparation processes.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
• Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others.
• Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns.
• Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws.
