Location Overview

Join our team at Amanvari. A remote natural paradise on Mexico’s Eastern Cape, Aman’s newest retreat finds home between the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and the calm waters of the Sea of Cortés. Role

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily service operations across the restaurant, pool, and beach areas, ensuring that every guest experience reflects Aman’s philosophy of serenity, authenticity, and precision.

They support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining flawless service standards, providing hands-on leadership to the Amansanti team with calm guidance and exceptional attention to detail.

This role requires active floor supervision, continuous communication with culinary, bar, and service teams, and the ability to anticipate guest needs with discretion and care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of restaurant, pool, and beach service, ensuring all areas are fully prepared and in pristine condition prior to service.
  • Ensure a seamless guest experience by monitoring service pacing, flow, and table coverage throughout all service periods.
  • Lead daily briefings, communicating relevant updates, menu changes, and guest preferences to the Amansantis team.
  • Oversee the setup, cleanliness, and mise en place of all service areas, coordinating closely with the back-of-house team.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, beverage offerings, and allergens, ensuring accurate communication with guests and culinary teams.
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns with empathy and discretion, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in team training, development, and performance evaluation.
  • Foster creativity and curiosity within the team, motivating Amansantis to remain inspired and informed about industry trends.
  • Participate actively in service when required, leading by example with calm presence and refined professionalism.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure all operating supplies and materials are properly maintained and replenished.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supervising restaurant, pool, and beach service operations within luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments.
  • Strong understanding of service sequence and fine dining etiquette.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, LQA standards, and TrustYou feedback systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros, SevenRooms, Opera, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
