GO Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Athletic Trainer to join our team in an occupational health setting. This role blends traditional athletic training with workplace health services, supporting injury prevention, employee wellness, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with a diverse workforce and performing clinical screenings in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-employment screenings, may include functional capacity and back assessments 
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines 
  • Provide first aid care in compliance with OSHA guidelines
  • Assist with injury prevention programs and ergonomic assessments 
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all services provided 
  • Educate employees on injury prevention, wellness, and safe work practices 
  • Collaborate with employers, HR teams, and medical providers as needed 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations 

Qualifications:

  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification 
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) 
  • Experience in occupational health, industrial settings, or sports medicine preferred 
  • Certification or willingness to obtain certification in drug and alcohol testing (DOT preferred) 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations 
  • Experience performing functional movement or back screens 
  • Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and injury prevention strategies
