Rasarumah (means flavor town!) is a Malaysian restaurant in Filipintown. We're looking for experienced, knowledgeable, passionate servers to join our team.
Description
- Embody the RasaRumah Culture. Be hospitable, be proud, be knowledgeable, create memorable experiences for our guests, and have fun while executing at a high level.
- Manage your Section: Execute effective table maintenance in accordance with steps of service. Utilize individual service style to create a personalized experience for guests. Be yourself, and be informed.
- Observe and guide execution of service. Ensure a seamless experience for guests through direct communication with all fellow staff members. Show your professionalism through detail-oriented service at all times.
- Manage speed of service and ticket times: Gauging guests’ desired speed of service through observation and intuition. Coursing is a major key in providing truly professional service. Communicate with guests to create desired pacing of their meal.
- Check IDs: – Such a simple exercise can be the difference between the survival and death of a business. Be careful!
- Greeting guests / /acting as host: – Ensuring that guests’ are never forced to ask for help!
- Table visits – ensuring guest enjoyment and satisfaction: Use opportunities such as filling water glasses to be quietly available throughout service.
- Consult with FOH Lead or GM on all immediate issues: guest complaints, slow ticket times, issues with co-workers, and problems with POS system. Know when to ask for help! The entire restaurant works together to achieve a common goal, and only with effective teamwork can genuinely efficient service be provided.
- Monitoring closing procedure (last call, end of service, drink removal, sweeping of guests): ). End the evening on the highest note possible. Notify the FOH lead or GM if any issues arise while removing guests from the restaurant.
- Oversee server side-work and cleaning duties: . Be efficient and go home!
