Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our evolving Real Time Communications (RTC) organization. As we transform from a service-focused model into a technology product hub, this role will play a critical part in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions that support automated provisioning, real-time communications systems, and customer-facing productivity tools.
This position requires deep full-stack engineering expertise, strong architectural skills, and a proven ability to develop complex, distributed solutions within large-scale enterprise environments—preferably in financial services or technology.
Responsibilities:
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Automates manual release activities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications for Real Time Communications systems and automated provisioning platforms.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET/C#, Java/J2EE, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, backend services, and UI components.
- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and production-ready modules leveraging RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise voice, trader voice, mobile, session management, middleware, and contact center systems.
- Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, scrum masters, architects, operational support teams, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Produce detailed technical design documentation, including low-level design specifications.
- Mentor developers and contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and support backlog refinement, estimation, and delivery planning.
- SDLC Execution & Support
- Apply full SDLC methodology, including design, documentation, development, testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience in large-scale enterprise applications, distributed architectures, and multithreaded design.
- Proven expertise with:
- Languages & Frameworks: Java/J2EE, Spring, .NET, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Node.js
- Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
- APIs & Architecture: RESTful services, microservices, API design
- DevOps: Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, automation frameworks
Desired Qualifications:
