LPN Nurse Staff

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego, NY. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily clinical regimen of each resident, implementing and evaluating the care of residents to ensure the highest degree of quality care.

  • Assist in planning and implementing the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Provide direct care and supervise the care given by CNAs and supportive staff members to ensure continuity of care between shifts.

  • Maintain role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.

  • Accurately document resident care and changes in condition in accordance with policy.

  • Monitor and report resident pain, depression, and other medical conditions.

  • Administer medications safely and per policy.

Requirements:

  • Valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certification
