NOW HIRING: Dietary Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and skilled in overseeing daily food service operations, budgeting, and team coordination.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Dietary Manager is responsible for the overall management of dietary operations, ensuring meals are prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards while maintaining a positive dining experience for residents.

This position may include rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage based on operational needs.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily dietary department operations and workflow
  • Ensure food service is delivered in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility standards
  • Manage ordering, inventory control, and budget-conscious supply usage
  • Train, support, and guide dietary staff to maintain consistent performance standards
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and meal presentation
  • Address operational needs and make independent decisions as required
  • Foster a respectful, team-oriented work environment
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in dietary, food service, or healthcare environment preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and food safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when needed
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
