Job Description
  • Set weekly priority lists for contract negotiations to optimize sales opportunities and facilitate order closures.
  • Ensure accuracy and accessibility of Cooper intranet sites for contracts, terms and conditions, certificates of insurance, and other relevant documents.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements and contract terms in a global context.
  • Analyze and mitigate business risks associated with contract documents.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Team and various internal teams to facilitate business transactions and projects, managing contract volume effectively.
  • Negotiate, review, and execute Non-disclosure Agreements.
  • Engage directly with customers and suppliers to finalize contract terms revisions.
  • Develop commercial contract templates and support documents for external sales and sourcing proposals.
  • Provide training to sales, services, sourcing, and project management personnel on contract risk management.
  • Ensure timely execution and publication of all contracts for assigned projects, expediting contract cycle time.
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and integration of contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Juris Doctorate, Masters of Business Administration, or advanced Law degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in contract drafting, management/negotiation, and legal transaction analysis.
  • Strong understanding and negotiation of legal liability risk concepts and transactional business principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
