Gastro Care Partners is looking for an enthusiastic and patient-focused full time Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Wyoming! This role is based in Rock Springs, with occasional travel to Rawlins and Big Piney. In this position, you’ll play a key part in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting providers with both clinical and administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit

  • Assist providers during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety

  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, blood draws, and specimen collection as permitted by scope of practice

  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures

  • Support prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance verification as needed

  • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

  • Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding care instructions and next steps

  • Adhere to all compliance, safety, and HIPAA regulations

  • Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care

  • Travel occasionally to support clinic operations in Rawlins and Big Piney, as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic and organizational needs
