The HAST Athletic Department is seeking a Qualified Candidate for the position of Head High School Girls Volleyball Coach. 

Required Qualifications • Previous volleyball coaching experience at the middle school, high school, club, or collegiate level • Knowledge & Compliance of IHSAA • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental volleyball skills, offensive/defensive systems, and game strategy • Ability to develop and implement structured practice plans and seasonal training programs • Experience supervising assistant coaches and coordinating team staff • Knowledge of rules and regulations of governing bodies such as the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and applicable state athletic associations • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification • Completion of required background check and district employment requirements 

Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience as a head coach at the high school or club level • Teaching certification or experience working in an educational setting • Strong understanding of athlete development, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention • Experience using video analysis and performance software • Demonstrated success in building competitive and character-driven programs

Compensation for coaching is based upon experience. Candidates with teaching certificates are a plus.
