Crouse’s Medical Imaging team provides services that include: Computed Tomography, Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, Breast Health Services, Bone Densitometry, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Interventional Radiology. The Medical Imaging team is hiring a Per Diem Technical Assistant - MRI.



Pay Range: $21.58 - $25.12 / hour



Technical Assistant - MRI responsibilities include:




  • Professionally greets/directs patients and efficiently serves as liaison between reception and technical control area.

  • Prepares materials and equipment prior to procedures and ensures rooms and equipment are cleaned and restocked in a timely manner.

  • Accurately enters patient information into department computer system.

  • Processes films and routinely loads and unloads cassettes, ensuring films are accurately identified.

  • Updates film boards when films become available in the department.  Proactively obtains outside films prior to patient arrival.

  • Monitors and routinely verifies available supplies, equipment and linen required for procedures and replenishes as needed.

  • Removes films from film boards and files in master jackets upon case review completion.

  • Assists in patient scheduling and ensures timely transport of patient films/records to other departments for interpretation.

  • Transports medical specimens to the lab as directed by department leadership.



 Education and Experience




  • High School Diploma/ GED

  • 6 months of Medical Imaging experience, preferred
