Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

Oakwood Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the dietary needs of our residents are met with excellence and care. Responsibilities:

• Assist the dietary team in preparing and serving meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
• Deliver and collect food trays to and from resident rooms, ensuring prompt and courteous service
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving food and supplies
• Support menu planning and implementation, as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory, food temperatures, and resident preferences
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are met
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
