About the Role

As an Auto Electrician with Redpath, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a modern fleet of Sandvik underground mining equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and safe operation across site.

Equipment includes:

Sandvik development drills
Sandvik production drills
Sandvik loaders (LHDs)
Sandvik trucks
Auxiliary underground support equipment

You’ll work within a skilled maintenance team committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Electrical diagnostics, fault‑finding and repairs on Sandvik underground equipment
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
Breakdown response and troubleshooting
Ensuring compliance with site, OEM and Redpath standards
Accurate completion of maintenance records and reporting
Contributing to a safe, efficient and team‑focused work environment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Trade‑qualified Auto Electrician
Experience with Sandvik underground mining equipment (highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Solid understanding of underground mining electrical systems
Commitment to safe work practices and procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Previous underground or heavy industrial experience preferred
