Job Description

The Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking enthusiastic, positive Junior Associates to assist coaching track-related activities during the summer camp session.

• The Track Junior Associate is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the track program and curriculum.
• Associates should be passionate about their sport and love working with young athletes ranging from grades 1st through 8th.
• The Track Junior Associates will work alongside the Head Track Coach.
• Will serve as one of the group associates and is responsible for assisting with execution of daily skill development sessions.
• Assist the head coach with leading daily sport-specific drills.
• Create and maintain collaborative relationships with other staff members.
• Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper related issues by communicating clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff.
• Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4).
• Additional duties as contracted.

Qualifications

Prior track experience at the elementary or high school level.

Must be High school grad, current undergrad student or post grad student

Compensation

• Hourly pay is $15.00

Location

• Homewood-Flossmoor High School

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday from 8:30-4:30pm
