Job Description:

• Receive and unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment and inspection for damages loss, or defects
• Maintain product, tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner
• Perform inventory control and keep quality standards high for audits
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Ability to operate a computer to assist in tags, fill out daily checklist and forms
• Inspect goods for defects and damages
• Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolvable
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties
• Assembling and moving furniture throughout the showroom on a daily basis

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience in receiving and assembling
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift, lower, push or pull furniture up to and in excess of 100lb
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Possess a clean, neat, and professional appearance
• Serve customers with a high level of courtesy
• Apply troubleshooting abilities to solve potential customer service issues
