Job Description

Location: Chilton, WI

Facility: Calumet Hospital

Department/Specialty: Med Surg Swing

Schedule: Part-Time, Days

  • Empower patients in their daily journey by providing compassionate assistance with personal care and mobility, ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

  • Advocate for patient safety by vigilantly monitoring physical and emotional changes, acting as the critical "eyes and ears" for the nursing team to ensure rapid response to patient needs.

  • Guide patients and their families through a seamless arrival and discharge experience, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they enter our care until they head home.

  • Document the patient’s progress with precision and care, maintaining accurate records that serve as the foundation for high-quality, continuous clinical treatment.

  • Cultivate a restorative healing environment by managing the cleanliness of patient spaces and ensuring medical equipment is ready and reliable for every procedure.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
