Position Summary:
Join the Vallen team as a Stibo STEP Developer. In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Master Data Management as part of Vallen’s EDGE program. The STEP Developer is responsible for the continued administration, customization, and support for Vallen’s Stibo STEP software. We are seeking a skilled Stibo STEP Developer to join our team and support the customization and optimization of the Stibo STEP Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in WebUI configuration, workflow automation, business rules, data modeling, system administration, and integrations. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to customize the STEP platform for Vallen while also ensuring the stability and performance of the system.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize the Stibo STEP platform including custom workflows, WebUI user interfaces, attributes, and data validation rules to meet business requirements.
- Support development and deployment of custom business rules and integrations.
Work closely with business users to understand data governance requirements to enhance data quality and integrity. - Monitor and analyze Stibo STEP system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize system configurations, and support system maintenance initiatives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues from business users.
- Implement quarterly SaaS upgrades, reviewing release notes for potential impacts/concerns and confirming with affected team members before implementing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data migration, transformation, and enrichment initiatives.
- Stay up to date with MDM best practices and advancements in Stibo STEP technology to recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to configurations, workflows, and WebUI interfaces.
- Provide training and support to business users on Stibo STEP functionalities and enhancements.
- Occasional work to perform system maintenance evenings and weekends, outside of business hours.
