Compensation Details:  Starting Pay - $70,400; Commensurate with education and experience


Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remote work

Job Summary:


This role is responsible for supporting daily operations of their department, programs, or major process focused on academic affairs, potentially including credit and non-credit instructional responsibilities. This position is expected to monitor program budgets and to lead institutional and community outreach. This position is expected to have a high level of department and programs specific knowledge The position requires collaboration across multiple divisions, campuses, and levels of the institution.






Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


Essential Performance Requirements
⦁ Leads and/or facilitates highly complex unit or programs; performs complex administrative, technical functions for the unit or programs
⦁ Performs complex, unit specific tasks relating to program development for credit and non-credit programs and assists with class schedules for credit and non-credit offerings
⦁ Supports daily operations of the department; makes technical decisions by applying policies, regulations, and protocol
⦁ Manages community outreach events and analyzes data to assess program effectiveness
⦁ Collaborates with department leadership on developing goals and outcomes
⦁ Collaborates as needed with administrative staff on daily operational needs
⦁ Monitors department and program budgets
⦁ Prepares, organizes, and manages presentations and reporting materials.
⦁ Assists with hiring of new staff as assigned
⦁ Actively recruits and engages prospective students and industry partners
⦁ Develops and maintains relationships with individuals and organizations across the institution and community

Service Excellence
⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
Works under general supervision of the department leadership

Required Minimum Qualifications:


Master’s degree and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience






Preferred Qualifications:


⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in a college or university setting related to the Essential Performance Requirements
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience collaborating with industry partners in developing internship, work-based learning opportunities, and apprenticeships






Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
⦁ Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
⦁ Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
